I am a postdoctoral fellow in the Department of Public Policy and Collective Choice (POLIS) at the University of Eastern Piedmont (Italy). Previously, I taught at York (UK), Essex (UK) and Catania (Italy). I have also been a postdoctoral research fellow at Carleton University (Canada).

Research
My current research interests are in Applied Microeconomics, Public Economics and Finance, Political Economy, Regional Economics and Regulation of Public Transport. The emphasis of my research is on conflicts resolution in public choices. More specifically, I apply methods from the modern bargaining theory to study how different types of institutional bodies and agents interact and make decisions when conflicting interests are involved.
